<p>Just got finished watching <a href="http://www.marketingexperiments.com/">Marketing Experiments</a> new research projects. Although the majority of their educational material focuses on defining a web pages &#8220;value proposition&#8221; this study&#8217;s core was on <strong>clarity</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.marketingexperiments.com/improving-website-conversion/claritytrumpspersuasion.html">Read the brief</a><br />
<a href="http://www.marketingexperiments.com/images/multifiles/articulate/webclinic-12-16-09/player.html">watch the video</a><br />
<a href="http://www.marketingexperiments.com/images/multifiles/whitepapers/MEx-Clarity-Trumps-Persuasion.pdf">Read the PDF document</a></p>
<p>The main points I took away that a business owner should take in consideration when analyzing their landing pages answering these 3 questions:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Where am I?</strong></li>
<li><strong>What can I do here?</strong></li>
<li><strong>Why should I do it?</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>I do also enjoy marketing experiments continued suggestions on buttons. Buttons should never just say &#8220;click here&#8221; or &#8220;register&#8221; but they should be a contain value; &#8220;Gain Free Access&#8221; is used in this experiment. </p>
